We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare. Our clients can choose to have appointments at their home, workplace, school, or care facility.

This approach provides personalised, accessible care in familiar environments, helping to reduce stress and transportation challenges. By assessing clients in real-life settings, our therapists can deliver tailored interventions to support better functional outcomes.

Our outreach service days currently extend to Narrabri, Quirindi, Armidale, Gunnedah, Nundle, Manilla, and Barraba.

IN-CLINIC SERVICES

Our purpose-built Allied Health Centre includes:

Neuro-Rehab Gym: Equipped with an overhead ceiling harness, bodyweight support training system, MOTOmed, SkiErg, upper body ergometer, VR station, neuro plinths, and more.

Paediatric Gym: Equipped with a rock climbing wall, sensory swings, therapy stairs, private consult spaces (including a sensory room), BlazePod wall, foam modules, crash mats and more.

Accessible Bathroom: Includes a fully accessible shower, hoist, change table, and toilet facilities.

Convenient Parking: Ample accessible parking is available right at the front door.

Team and Seminar Spaces: A spacious team area and seminar room to support multidisciplinary care.

Wilma

Jordan

Jordan first engaged with Compass in 2020 for Physio, and Speech.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT SINCE WORKING WITH THE COMPASS TEAM?

“Talking! When we started, Jordan wasn’t talking at all. We tried a lot of things and finally at 4 years old he said his first new word! Now at 6, Jordan is reading everything, talking a lot, communicating to us what he wants and how he is feeling, and asking lots of questions to learn as much as possible! He is excelling in Kindergarten, knowing 200 site words! ”

Gypsie

Gypsie first engaged with Compass in 2023 for Physio, and Speech.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT SINCE WORKING WITH THE COMPASS TEAM?

“Gypsie achieved all her gross motor goals and is now able to hop and jump five times forward. Gypsies balance has improved and she is now engaging in gymnastics in the Tamworth community. Gypsie has achieved all of her receptive and social language goals, including answering -wh questions and taking turns in games with friends.”

Sienna

Sienna first engaged with Compass in 2023 for Speech Pathology.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT SINCE WORKING WITH THE COMPASS TEAM?

“Sienna's biggest achievements would be how much she has improved her spoken language to be able to communicate effectively. This has had a positive impact on her peer interactions and social skills. Janelle is amazing and has built a great rapport with Sienna. Thank you to the Compass team for giving her a voice!”

Archie

Archie first engaged with Compass in 2021 for Physio and Speech.

“Learning to eat safely, to walk and to use key word sign to communicate! Everything we’ve learnt has been so valuable in helping Archie to do his best at his own pace. Thanks Compass Team!”

Mia

Mia first engaged with Compass in 2023 for Physio, Speech and OT.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT SINCE WORKING WITH THE COMPASS TEAM?

"Mia loves attending her sessions at Compass and is making significant progress across all three therapy areas. In speech therapy, Mia is mastering her targeted speech sounds and is starting to transfer these into everyday conversation. In physiotherapy, she is demonstrating improved balance and physical endurance."

Alfie

Shane

Shane first engaged with Compass in 2022 for Physio and EP.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT SINCE WORKING WITH THE COMPASS TEAM?

“Shane has worked with the Compass team after her amputation until now where she is learning to walk again and rebuild confidence with her prothesis. Currently Shane is able to walk a total of 100m broken into shorter distances with breaks. Shane's goal is to continue to build her exercise tolerance and be able to walk with her prosthesis in the community.”

Allasdair

Allasdair first engaged with Compass in 2020 for Physio, EP, OT and Speech.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT SINCE WORKING WITH THE COMPASS TEAM?

"When Allasdair was born I was told he would never talk, walk, or have any sort of normal life. It was the team at Compass that helped me achieve these goals for Allasdair and now he seems to be thriving all thanks to his team at Compass. I love seeing the smile on his face each time he sees everyone."
